Garden Centre Manager JobsWe are a well-established and customer-focused garden centre dedicated to providing high-quality plants, gardening products, and an exceptional retail experience.
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Garden Centre Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our centre. This is a hands-on role combining retail management, team leadership, and horticultural expertise.
Manage all aspects of daily garden centre operations
Drive sales performance and achieve financial targets
Oversee plant care, stock quality, and visual merchandising
Lead, train, and motivate a team of staff (including seasonal employees)
Ensure outstanding customer service standards
Manage stock control, ordering, and supplier relationships
Maintain compliance with health & safety regulations
Plan and deliver seasonal promotions and in-store events
Preferred Skills
Proven experience in retail management (garden centre or similar environment preferred)Strong leadership and team management skills
Good horticultural knowledge (RHS qualifications desirable)
Commercially aware with experience managing budgets and KPIs
Passionate about customer service and delivering a high-quality retail experience
Flexible and willing to work weekends and peak seasonal periods
